  I thought I was getting insurance and a car loan from a great company. Mark had a good name with my family, and I am so disappointed and frustrated that I have had nothing but headaches from them. I signed up with an agent who seemed really nice. He told me all about my amazingly low out of pocket if I was hit by arother driver. He promised to help me figure out how to change the plates on my new car since statefarm was holding the title. After day one this agent didn't help me. He stopped returning my calls after the loan was finalized, and he even entered my bank information incorrectly. Which lead to surprise late fees. I turned to another Mark Mitchell agent for help and he was able to help me figure out my license plate situation. However, this new agent tried to sign me up for a bank account through statefarm so I would have received a lower interest rate on my loan. I didn't like having money moved from one account to another. So on the day the loan was due I called Statefarm bank to confirm that the payment was being pulled. Which they confirmed. 10 days later I was called and informed that I was being charged another late fee because they couldn't pull the money. All because the bank account wasn't setup correctly. Due to my personal information being entered wrong (which they admitted). By now I was beyond frustrated. But once I found out I could go online and pay my loan without being charged a convenience fee and with such a great plan it seemed stupid to move to another company. 6 months later I was hit while parked and my car was damaged so I called Statefarm to make a claim. That was when I found out that my out of pocket wasn't low, it was actually 6 times the amount I was told. After starting the claim they said that they would call me back. However, after not hearing from them for a while. I called and was told the claim was processing. I waited and again... I heared nothing. So i called and was told the same thing. Finally I was told that my claim had been canceled because they were unable to get a hold of me... Fast forward almost two years now. I now find out that Statefarm had marked on my permanent driving record that I was responsible for the accident! When my parked car was hit and the car that hit me was still there! Smashed against my car. I was the one that had the police report, and maid the claim... Have photos and a police report made that night. DO NOT sign up with Mark Mitchell. At first I thought it was one mistake then another and another. Eventually I thought the worst had already happened but it still got worse. They don't care what happens to you or your car they just want to be paid.
